YIELD STILL STEADY BETTER THAN LAST SEASON Dairy production in the Auckland district during the past two weeks and during the season is more than 8 per cent, better than for the corresponding periods last season. The yield continues to be steady, although a mixture of summer and winter conditions throughout the province has temporarily slowed up production. Statistics relative to produce received during the past fortnight at the grading stores of the Auckland Farmers’ Freezing Company show a very satisfactory position. A summary of the numbers of boxes of butter and crates of cheese received at the stores for the two weeks ended November 14. compared with those for the same fortnight in 1927, is given below.
