FUN OF THE FAIR
ATTRACTION AT TOWN HALL All the fun of carnival will be had in the Town Hall to-morrow evening, when St. Patrick’s Fair, a monster gala attraction, will open a season of bargain selling and entertainment. The fair has been arranged with the object of reducing the debt on several Homan Catholic schools in the city. In addition to stalls for the sale of a wide variety of commodities, there will be numerous side-shows, entertainments and competitions, including a speed championship for Auckland typistes, a baby show, a fancy-dress parade for children and a poster competition. Concert entertainment will be provided by the "Magpies'’ Costume Comedy Company. On Saturday evening anCi. again next Wednesday evening, a cabaret will be open at the Town Hull.
