At the Newmarket meeting the jockey Club Cup, 24 miles, resulted in a win for Mr. Reid Walker’s black horse Invershin (7yrs. by Invincible from Ajantia), who defeated the only other x'unner, Appledore (3yrs( by Silvern—Crania), owned by Lord Glanely, by six lengths. JOCKEY RAE RECOVERS (From Our Own Correspondent) HAMILTON, To-day. The jockey, E. C. Rae, who was injured while .riding Siaosi in the Matangi Hurdles at Te Rapa and admitted to hospital, has now been discharged.
