AGAINST EXTREME LABOUR
MR. LYSNAR EXPLAINS VIEWS Press Association GISBORNE, To-day. Mr. W. D. Lysnar addressed his electors last night, declaring himself as an Independent Reformer, as in the past. He had had the opportunity of putting the Government out of office in 1925, when it had a majority of only two, but kept his pledge to maintain the Government in preference to the extreme Labour section, which he was out mainly to fight. The Reform Party was the best in sight and could best be trusted to take the right course.
