SMALL FARMS ADVOCATED
PREVENTING DRIFT TO TOWNS Press Association ASHBURTON, To-day., Mr. J. Connolly, United Party candidate for the mid-Canterbury seat, addressed a large meeting last evening. He advocated the purchase of small areas, and cutting them into 20acre blocks, as a corrective to the drift to the towns. He also supported an agricultural bank. A vote o t thanks was given the candidate.
