WOMAN CANDIDATE FOR GREY LYNN?

NOVEL ANNOUNCEMENT Grey Lynn may have another candidate, a woman, who took the opportunity of rising at Mr. J. S. Fletcher’s meeting last evening, and announcing that she would be a candidate against all comers. This prospective candidate is a Mrs. Paterson, who, according to what Mr. Fletcher told the meeting, had sought nomination as the official United candidate. “Come one, come all.” was Mr. Fletcher’s comment at the announcement, which was received with amusement, and cries of “That’s right. Split the votes!”
