“CIRCUS ROOKIES” AT BRITANNIA
One of those popular comedies by Karl Dane and George K. Arthur, “Circus Rookies,” is the main pictorial attraction at the Britannia Theatre this evening. The picture is a hilarious comedy romance laid in a circus, and a complete circus was built, and peopled with professional performers for it. Miss Lorraine plays the heroine and Sydney Jarvis, Fred Humes and others of note are in the cast. Dane plays an animal trainer and Arthur a circus press agent in a series of comical adventures in which a chase with a giant gorilla and a race over the tops of cars in a careening circus train play a prominent part. The dramatic story, “Flames,” starring Virginia Valli, is the second feature.
