HALF AN HOUR EARLY

SCHOOLS MUST KEEP TO SUMMER TIME Several schools have written to the Education Board asking if they are forced to run to the summer-time schedule. Last year school committees were allowed to use their discretion, but this year there is to be no option. “I would like to see them all try the half-hour,” said the chairman, Mr. A. Burns, at the board’s meeting today. “There would be no difficulty at all.” said another member. On the motion of Mr. J. P. McPhail, it was decided to adopt summer time.
