CROQUET PLAYERS ENTERTAIN FRIENDS

A very enjoyable card evening was given by the Carlton Croquet Clut members on Thursday, both bridgt and “500” being played. The winners were: Progressive bridge, Mrs. J. Jobson, 1; Mrs. Dixon, 2; stationary bridge, Mrs. Walker. For “500,” Mrs. James, 1; Mrs. Somerville, 2. Among the guests were:—Mr. and Mrs. Hamilton, Mrs. Perry, Mrs. Cucksey, Mrs. Wilson, Mr. and Mrs. Somerville, Mrs. S.
