FUNDS FOR PARISH FAIR | A very enjoyable social evening was held in the Otahuliu public hall on Thursday, when cards and dancing were enjoyed- The proceeds are to bo devoted to the funds of the men’s stall at tho forthcoming bazaar. There was a large attendance, and a delightful programme of dance music was supplied by Mrs. F. Andrews’s orchestra. Mr. V. Morrin was master of ceremonies. Competitions added gaiety to the function. For the non-dancers a progessive 500 tournament was held, tho prizewinners being Mrs. G. McDell 1. Mrs. West 2, Mr. Whyte 1, Mr. West 2, Mr. R. Johnstone consolation. The members of the women’s committee were Mesdames V. Morrin, Parsons, K. McDell, F. Leslie. Fenton, and Miss Carson.
