PULLED HIS NOSE
AGGRESSOR IN TRAIN FINED £1
“Ho walked up to complainant in a railway carriage, pulled his nose and called him a coward.”
In consequence of this conduct, as described by Sub-Inspector McCarthy, William J. Burton appeared at the Police Court this morning on a charge of assaulting Gleenard Ashley Parker on August 24. Defendant explained that his action followed a disagreement over building operations in Glen Eden, and that it was all done on the impulse of clie moment.
“You should not take the law into your own hands,” said Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., as he fined Burton £1 for being disorderly, and convicted and discharged him on the assault charge.
