“MIDNIGHT ROSE” AT CAPITOL
“Under tlio Tonto Rim,” a colourful melodrama of the early West from the story by Zane Grey will be shown at the Capitol Theatre this evening. Richard Arlen and Mary Brian are the stars.
Zane Grey’s story is a virile one, with a plot that well fits the demands of the motion picture audiences. While many of this author’s writing’s have concerned the life of the cowboy, “Under the Tonto Rim” has as its locale and background the Tonto Basin in Arizona, at the time gold was discovered.
Many thrills have been interwoven in the action and the comedy element has not been neglected, nor has the romantic appeal. Miss Brian and Arlen are known on the screen as two of the best-liked leading players in pictures. This is the first time they have ever appeared in a western story, and it is their first work together. “Midnight Rose,” a drama of life in the night clubs, and starring Lye de Putti, is the second feature.
