Boyd, chief postmaster at Hamilton, has been transferred as chief postmaster at Wellington. He will be succeeded by Mr. C. A. Mathieson. postmaster at papier. Mr. Boyd has a record of rapid promotion in the service since he first joined as a messenger at Hawera in 1890.
