NURSES’ HOME BURNED

Press Association GISBORNE, To-day. The nurses’ home at the Te Puia Hospital, Tokomaru Bay, was totally destroyed by fire last night. Considerable difficulty was experienced by a bucket brigade in saving the main hospital, a portion of which was badly scorched. Fortunately, a change in wind saved the situation.
