ANDERSON SELLS PLANE
TO WAYBACK PUBLICAN WILL TRY FLIGHT AGAIN (United P.A.—By Telegraph — Copyright) Reed. 10 a.m. SYDNEY, To-day. A Darwin message states that Lieutenant Keith Anderson has sold the engine of his wrecked airplane to the publican at Katherine. Nothing else is saleable. Anderson, who is returning to Sydney overland, declares that he will obtain another machine and make a fresh attempt to reach England. HINKLER HITS A RUT AIRPLANE DAMAGED (United P.A.—By Telegraph — Copyright) Reed. 10 a.m. BUNDABERG, To-day Mr. Bert Hinkler and hie wife were completing a flight from Brisbane when their airplane struck a rut in Bundaberg Park. 4 The undercarriage was severely damaged, but the occupants were not hurt.
