DRAINAGE CONFERENCE

LOCAL BODIES TO MEET The advisability of extending the Auckland and Suburban drainage district to embrace all areas or portions of areas within the Manukau watershed of the Eden County, will be the subject of a conference which will be held at the Town Hall this evening. The provision of an intercepting sewer system for the watershed, with a proper outfall into the Manukau Harbour, is the object of the suggested extension of the district. Delegates will comprise representafct tives of the Drainage Board, the OneWk bunga Borough Council, the One Tree ■ Hill, Mount Roskill and Mount WellW ington Road Boards, and the Ellerslie ■ Town Board.
