POKED HIS TONGUE OUT
LABOURER FINED £1 “He was standing on the platform of a tram, waving his arms about, and making insulting remarks about the police. He poked his tongue out at me.” This conduct, as described by Constable Gawler, cost Alexander William Keith, a labourer, aged 36, £1 at the Police Court this morning. Keith was charged with being disorderly while drunk in Ponsonby Road on Saturday evening.
