For her wedding to Air. David Slater, of Port Nockie, Scotland, at St. Alatthew’s Church, last evening, Aliss Anne Copley, youngest daughter of All*. and Airs. E. F. Copley, of Jervois Road, Herne Bay, chose a dainty frock of ivory georgette, with a side drape caught with a large silver flower. Hand-made silver roses with trails of silver thread defined the hemline. A charming veil of Brussels net was caught closely to the head with a wreath of orange blossoms, and fell in graceful folds to form a train. The bride carried a shower bouquet of freesias and sweet peas. Aliss Gertrude Copley acted as chief bridesmai'd, and wore a frock of topaz pink taffeta, with uneven hemline, and finished with tiny embroidered flowers in pastel shades. Aliss Lily Cooper chose orchid mauve taffeta,’ similarly made. The headdresses were of tulle, with gold and silver rosebuds, and each carried a shower bouquet. Mr. j» lan k Lowe was best man, and Air. James Gregory was groomsman. At a reception held later in the Penrith Tea Rooms, Airs. Copley received the guests wearing a graceful* gown of mexique blue satin faconne, inset with silver fawn georgette, and navy and lawn fiat to tone. With this was carried a posy of autumn-tinted flowers. Among the guests were: Airs. J. Watson, black frock of georgette, with facings of champagne Airs. J. Smith, frock of fluted lime crep de chine and georgette. AJrs. W. Watson, moonlight blue crepe ue chine, with pemnche relief. Airs. J. 11. Cole, rose du bois frock of crep de chine, with silver lace. Mrs. R. AL Alar tin, frock of rose du karri georgette, with pleated panels. Airs. Moore, midnight blue frock of crep alonza, with facings of blush rose. Airs. Arthur Hutchings, frock of champagne lace, with georgette panels. Airs. Alar tin, rosed ust satffi faconne frock, with appliqued designs. Mrs. Newton, moon-mist blue crepe de chine, with touches of cyclamen. Airs. Greenwood, fleur ‘de lys crepe alonza frock. Airs. J. Gregory, pastel blue frock of taffeta, with hat to tone. Mrs. ,F. Gilder, sunkist pink frock of crepe faille, with Oriental motifs. Aliss Alma O’Connor, sea foam green taffeta frock. Aliss Edna Pyke, hyacinth blue taffeta, with-pearl headings. Aliss Corcoran, cameo pink frock of crep de chine, with ruffled frills. Miss Ala vis Floyd, pomegranate frock ! of crepe de chine, with silver lace. Miss Belle Cooper, Valencia blue taffeta. period frock. Aliss Rita Wren, wistaria mauve crepe alonza frock. Aliss E. Lees, dawn silver grey frock of satin du soil', with facings of Naples blue.
