NEW CONSTITUTION OF COMMITTEE

At tlie monthly meeting of the JunioHigh School Committee. Mr. K c Banks, chairman and representatif* on the Education B>ard. reported th*; the committee's recommendation tha* in future the Junior High School Com. mitte consist of the chairman of tht contributory schools, with the addition of two members to be elected bv th. parents of pupils, was adopted by th* Auckland Education Board. The decision will be placed before the department in Wellington for approval. It is intended that the local member of the Education Board will still be chairman.
