CHEAP PETROL
WELLINGTON CLUB’S PLAN (Special to THE SUN) WELLINGTON, Monday. An agreement has been made between the Wellington Automobile Club and an oil company to supply members of the club with petrol in case lots at 14s Sd a case, free on rail or boat at Wellington, or free delivery in the Wellington delivery area, and at 16s 2d a case at Palmerston North. The company would take all shipping liability and agree to store, free of charge, where six case lots were ordered. The members would be allowed to lift a case at a time as required. Yesterday 2,000 cases were unshipped. Members will be advised about pump supplies in about 10 days’ time.
