MOTOR-SALESMAN GAOLED INTOXICATED IN CAR Press Association. WELLINGTON, To-day. Thomas Clarence Pearce, a motor salesman, a single man of 28 who has twice previously been convicted of being intoxicated in charge of a motorcar and fined £lO and £ls, was today sent to gaol for two months for a third offence. He received a further two months’ imprisonment for the conversion of a car belonging to Lawrence Dillon, the terms to be concurrent. ITe was convicted for a breach of his prohibition order, and suspended from obtaining a driver’s licence for two years.
