AUCKLAND’S SINS
PROCESSION TO-NIGHT SALVATION ARMY OF 80 MEMBERS The Salvation Army’s march of mourning for the sins of Auckland will be held thit evening. At 8 o’clock the procession will leave the new Congress Hall in Grey’s Avenue and will march down Queen Street and back again to the hall. ‘VJ’O definite route will be traversed. How far the procession will inarch down Queen Street will depend on the time available. As the members of the procession will have to be back in the hall by S.3t» o’clock, when Commissioner James Hay will deliver his adderss on “The Damning Sins of Auckland.” it is not thought that they will get very far. About 80 members of the Salvation Army will take part in the procession. They will be led by the Army’s band, which will play hymns suitable for the occasion. Women officers in the procession will be robed in black mourning.
