Rotorua.—ln the semi-final for the championship of Rotorua Golf Club, played on Saturday, P. Sheriff beat Hulton. 3 and 1. Hulton won the championship last year. Sherriff is one of the foundation members. C. Kusabs beat Worthington. 3 and 2. They are also foundation members. On the way out Worthington was three up, but failed to hold his opponent. The final between Kusabs and Sherriff will be played next Saturday. In the B grade matches George beat Mclsaacs. 4 and 3, and Gee beat A. French on the 18th. Tauranga.—The final of the Tauranga Golf Club’s junior championship was played between D. V. Hannah and D. Lewis and resulted in a win for Lewis, 5 and 4. In the senior championship Hetherington defeated Matheson. last year's champion, 2 up. The contestants for championship honours are P. H. Roche and E. C. Hetherington. The final will be played on Wednesday. In a challenge match for the fourball buttons, R. P. Baigent and R. T. Goulding defeated J. H. Ralfe and H. P. Bryan (holders), 2 and 1.
