SATURDAY JOY-RIDERS
TWO CARS REMOVED Two motor-cars were stolen by “joyriders” from city streets on Saturday, but both were recovered later by the police. A travelling rug was stolen from a Chevrolet car belonging to Mr. P. McA. Hobson, of Ellerton Road, Mount Eden. The car itself was taxen from outside Eden Park on Saturday afternoon and was recovered yesterday afternoon on the New North Road, Mount Albert. The other car was a Buick sedan belonging to Mr. John Milne, of Seaview Road, Remuera, which was taken from Princes Street and recovered again there in the early morning.
