“MERCENARY MARY”

SEASON CONCLUDED TRIBUTES TO ARTISTS “Mercenary Mary,” the bright musical comedy which has entertained thousands of people during the past few evenings at St. James Theatre, was put on for the last time last evening. The show concluded amid enthusiasm and tho artists, with Miss Elsie Prince, Jimmie Godden and Charlton Morton, at their head, were given a hearty farewell. All the stars received floral tributes, and there were numerous large boxes of chocolates. After the curtain had been rung up after the finale, Miss Prince led the way and the company joined hands with tho audience across the footlights and sang “Auld Lang Syne.”
