FOUR-DAY ROAD RACE
CHRISTCHURCH TO DUNEDIN CYCLING UNION’S SUGGESTION Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, To-day. A four-day road race from Chrfstchurch to Dunedin and back was suggested at a meeting of the North Canterbury Centre of the New Zealand Athletic and Cycling Union last evening. Several members spoke in favour of the proposal, and it was decided to communicate with the controlling bodies in Timaru, Oamaru and Dunedin urging that a conference to discuss the suggestion should be held in Timaru on the evening of October 5, the day before the Timaru to Christchurch road race.
