WINTER SHOW YIELDS AT LEAST £2,000
CONSERVATIVE ESTIMATE On a “safe,” conservative estimate, the profit from this year’s Winter Exhibition will be not less than £2,000. Reporting to the General Committee of the Manufacturers’ Association yesterday, the show manager, Mr. J. Findlay, gave this information. He said all accounts were not yet to hand and he could not give a detailed report. Last year the show yielded a profit of £2,600, which was divided equally between the Manufacturers’ Association and the A. and P. Association. The Olympic motor exhibition shared the cost of erecting shelters last year but it will not do so this year. “We will be very pleased to receivp our share,” said the president, Mr. G. Finn. “It will be a welcome addition to our nest-egg.”
