“TTNEMPLOYMENT insurance would be a very serious thing to the manufacturers, and we would have to oppose it strongly,” said Mr. G. Finn, president of the Auckland Manufacturers’ Association, at the meeting of the general committee yesterday. “However, the letter from the London Chamber of Commerce to the Auckland Chamber, published recently, has just about settled it, 1 think,” he continued. “There are other ways of dealing with unemployment than the dole.”
