A FINE DISPLAY

ONEHUNGA WOOLLEN MILLS Aucklanders do not seem to bn 'aware that they have in their own home town a woollen factory capable of turning out any class of woollen goods to compete with the world’s best. Yest this is no idle boast, for the products of the Onehunga Woollen Mills are of the highest quality. These mills were the first in New Zealand to instal the Permutit Zeolite water-softening plant, which im dm! extensively in England and America. The use of this plant absolutely removes all deleterious mineral impurities from the water used in the manufacture of the beautifully soft, fleecy blankets for which the Oneliunga Mills are renowned. A pleasing feature about these blankets is that soap has no detrimental effect on them, and after being in the laundry they are returned with all their original softness. *‘Onehunga” blankets were awarded gold medals at the exhibitions held recently at Wembley. Toronto and Dunedin, a distinction which speaks for itself. Travelling rugs of the best quality and choicest designs are manufactured in the Onehunga Mills, which also make a fine selection of suiting* in the most up-to-date designs. The wise wearer of clothing will b«' on the look-out for three attributes pertaining to materials, which arc of vital importance—honest wear, smart appearance and minimum cost. Onehunga tweeds satisfy all these requirements. At the Winter Exhibition the Onehunga Mills have a very fine display of all the various eloths they manufacture. This includes men’s sports wear, fleecy blankets, dress tweeds for ladies’ costumes, attractive travelling rugs, and all-wool garments of ever?' kind, the whole most artistically and strikingly displayed.
