CHEESE HIGHEST SINCE 1925 The overseas market for both butter and cheese continues to register ‘ a rising tendency. ‘ Cheese, quoted in London at 1105, is at the highest level since November of 1925. Butter advanced to 1825 for New Zealand finest, is at the highest level since the end of September of last year. A firm tone is recorded in the market. Merchants report receipt of London cables reading as follows: Amalgamated Dairies, Ltd., from their London office under date July 11: “Butter: After considerable activity at 1785 to 1805, the market finally closed very firm at 182 s for Anchor. Cheese: 110 s; market firm. Joseph Nathan and Co., from their London principalsz—“Butter, 1805." Dalgety and Co., from their London house, under date July 11:—“Butter: The market is firm. Prices are «is to 65 higher. Now 179 s to 1833. Cheese: The market is firm. Prices are 25 to 45 higher. New 1095 to 1115.

EXPORT REGULATIONS DAIRY BOARD RECOMMENDATIONS ' Press Association X’VELLINGTON, To-day. The Dairy Board meeting to-day decided to ask the lVlinister of Agricul—ture, the Hon. 0. J. Hawken, to elimi~ nate clauses 6 and S of the export licence regulations. These clauses require all companies to supply certain returns, including particulars of f.o.b. sales to Great Britain. It was also agreed to-day to ask companies to give the terms voluntarily. A reduction of threepence per cent. in premium for cheese has been arranged, representing a. saving of £BOO.
