At the wool sales 11.067 bales were offered. or which 6.663 were Australian and 3,689 New Zealand. Theer was a large and somewhat miscellaneous selection of merinos, a few greasy vrossbreds. and a large offering of seoureds and slipes. The market was firm. with good general conlpetition. Opening rates were maintained. New Zealand. Eclipse, 26d. top price; 252 M average.
