CHURCH v. ’VARSITY

PING-PONG CHALLENGE Much amusement was created at the opening of the Dilworth Old Boys’ clubroom in the Dilworth Building on Saturday, when Archdeacon G. Mac Murray, chairman of the Trust Board, accepted a challenge to play the first game of ping-pong with Professor A. P. TV. Thomas, a member of the board. Mr. E. L. Thwaites, president of the Dilworth Old Boys’ Association, extended the challenge and the game was commenced. The players were cheered on throughout the game and loud applause greeted each rally. The game ended in a draw, 10 all.
