COUNTRY HOME BURNED

FIRE AT TATUANUI (Special to THE SUNJ MORRINSVILLE, Saturday. The eight-roomed residence of Mr. W. Darrall, No. 8 Road, Tatuanui, was totally destroyed by fire in the early hours of the morning. The fire occurred during a severe gale and the building was demolished within half an hour. A. few of the household effects were saved, including the piano and a suite of furnitture, but the loss was a heavy one. A portion of the house was practically the oldest in the district, the residence being partly rebuilt 12 years ago. There was a policy on the house and furniture in the South Taranaki Farmers’ Fire Insurance Company.
