MORE MAIN HIGHWAYS DECLARED MANY EXTENSIONS A large number of additional roads and extensions have been added to the list of main highways. Those in the Auckland province include:— NO. 1 DISTRICT Parkliurst Road, from the AucklandHelensville main highway, near the Helensville concrete bridge to Springs Road, 1 mile 20 cnains. Beach Road, from Wairau Creek, via Murrays Bay, Brown's Bay and Deep Creek to Awaruku Creek, 7 miles. Henderson-Kumeu, via Swanson, Waitakere and Taupaki, 11 miles. Henderson Valley Road, from Auck-land-Helensville main highway, 4 miles 20 chains. Kaukapakapa-Port Albert, from Hel-ensville-Waiwera main highway, via Qlorit and Tauhoa, 29 miles. Waikumete-West Coast, from Auck-land-Helens ville main highway at Glen Eden, 8 miles. Te Hana-Tomorata, 4 miles. Wellsford-Whangaripo, 10 miles. ■\Vhakapirau-Maungaturoto railway station, 7 miles 20 chains. Ruawai creamery (Awaroa) -Armstrong’s corner, 3 miles 40 chains. Tangowahine Valley Road, 10 miles.
