FIRST BIG LEAD Private advice received in Auckland last week says that Robert Geddes has received excellent notices from the London critics for his performance in “Marjoline,” the new Gaiety Theatre production. This is the young Aucklander’s first real lead. He is playing opposite Lillian Davies, and Oscar Asche is also in the cast. It is expected that “Marjoline,” which is a costume musical comedy, will run for many months.
