DAUGHTER MUST NOT OWN RACEHORSES The late James Deuchar. chairman of a Newcastle brewery, left a fortune of £1,207,000. A clause in the will prohibits his daughter keeping or running racehorses on pain of losing her income from the portion of the fortune left to her. The daughter is the wife of Captain Renwick. the racehorse trainer. Mr. Deuchar himself owned racehorses, which he ran chiefly at North Country meeting*.
