DARGAVILLE BYELECTION

MR. B. BERRY HEADS POLL (From, Our Own Correspondent) DARGAVILLE, To-day. Despite the fact that it rained hard all day, nearly 300 people turned out to vote at the by-election to fill the vacancy on the borough council. The poll resulted in a substantial win for Mr. Ben Berry, who polled 210 votes to Dr. Greville’s 81. Mr. Berry is the manager of a large general store in the town, and is president of the Business Men’s Association.
