Cyclist’s Death.—Mr. Philip Owen Kerr, of Takaka, near Nelson, died yesterday from injuries received in a fall from a motor-cycle.—P.A. Forgery Alleged.—Dorothy Mainell. aged 23, charged at the Police Court to-day with forging an endorsement to a cheque, was remanded to appear again in a fortnight. Porter Found Dead.—Jack Cuttle, aged 23, employed as a porter at a Dunedin hotel, was found dead on the floor of his bedroom this morning. A post-mortem examination will be held.
