CYCLIST INJURED

KNOCKED DOWN BY CAR While riding a bicycle along the Great North Road at noon on Saturday, Alfred James Cook, aged 55, was knocked over by a motor-car. He was taken to the Auckland Hospital, where it was found that his injuries were serious. Mr. Cook resides at Blake Street. Avondale. The motor-car was driven by Mr. James Lucas, of Glen Eden.
