MANUKAU SEAT

MR. E. V. SUTHERLAND ASKED TO STAND Mr. E. V. Sutherland, of Onehunga, has been approached by leading supporters of the Reform Party, to contest the Manukau seat at the forthcoming election. He is a member of the well-known contracting firm of H. Bray and Co., acting-chairman of the Otahuhu Trotting Club, and a member of the Manukan Licensing Committee. It is understood that an influential deputation will wait upon Mr. Sutherland this evening and endeavour to Persuade him to stand in the Reform interests.
