SPENT TERM IN PRISON SUIT FAILS IN COURT Press Association. WELLINGTON, To-day. In the Magistrate’s Court this morning, Mr. E. Page, S.M., delivered judgment in the case of the steward who sued the Federated Cooks’ and Stewards’ Union for £25 damages, because he was refused readmission to the union after serving a term of imprisonment for theft. The magistrate’s finding was plaintiff’s claim must fail, and judgmetn was entered for the union with costs
