COLD WATER WARMS YOU!

(From Our Oven Correspondent) _NGATEA, To-day. pOLD water is right enough in its place, but at this time of the year few would regard it as likely to warm the cockles of the heart. The Ngatea District High School Committee does not think so, at any rate. When the committee was considering supplying the children with hot cocoa during the winter months, the chairman, Mr. W. McDuff, said that the visiting medical officers had strenuously opposed giving cocoa, and had advocated cold water. Shivering memories of cold water plunges decided members in favour of continuing to supply cocoa.
