BARONESS ORCZY’S NOVEL One of the exciting Scarlet Pimpernel stories from the pen of Baroness Orczy, entitled “I Will Repay,” is now being shown at the Lyric Theatre. The story tells of the revenge planned by a young girl, Juliette, on a crafty lawyer, Deroulede, but they are both brought before the French revolutionary tribunal. Just when the mob was getting out of hand a soldier rode up -to the gates of the tribunal, with an order to bring the prisoners into safety, to the temple. The waiting mob was eluded. Deroulede and Juliette were hurried away in the darkness, along a deserted side street and into a lonely tavern, where they were astonished by an order to change quickly into a disguise provided for them. In a few minutes they emerged—in shabby dress—and were confronted by the repellant figure of the mob leader. They shrank back. A loud laugh from the old peasant, the Hinging off his coat and hat, and —the Scarlet Pimpernel stood revealed as their deliverer —the man whose clever order to the tribunal had saved them from instant death. The leading roles are played by Flora le Breton, Pedro de Cordoba, and Holmes Herbert, as the Scarlet Pimpernel. “Broadway Billy,” a thrilling story of a boxing champion who nearly lost his title, and starving Billy Sullivan, will also be shown. Esther Ralston has started hex new picture. It will be called “Sawdust Paradise,” and Reed Howes will be leading man. Another big player has been added to the cast of this Paramount picture, and that is Hobart Bosworth. famous for his characterisations in many pictures. Luther Reed is the director,
