CROQUET CLUB

“BRING AND BUY” SALE The ladies of the Papakura Croquet Club held a bring-and-buy afternoon on Wednesday in the parish hall. The effort was very successful, about £5 being raised. This amount is to go to help the fund to keep the greens in order during the winter months. In the absence of the president (Miss M. Cooper), Mrs. J. Jarvie (vicepresident) thanked all who had helped to make the effort a success. During the afternoon Mrs. McKechnie (Mangere) sang some very delightful songs.
