HOTELS BROKEN INTO
WHISKY AND BRANDY TAKEN Press Association. INVERCARGILL, Tuesday. Burglars are busy in the Winton district. A store room at the Railway Hotel was broken into and a quantity of liquor was stolen. Lochiel’s store also was entered and a quantity of merchandise removed. An unsuccessful attempt to enter the Winton Hotel was made, and this morning the Oreti Hotel was entered and two cases of whisky and a halfcase of brandy were stolen.
