STAFF DANCE
ELECTRIC CONSTRUCTION CO. A very enjoyable dance was given by the social club of the Electric Construction Company of New Zealand at the Auckland Electric Power Board’s social hall on Saturday Messrs Humphries and McLeod were M.C.’s. Dancing was interspersed with items by Mrs. Robertson, Miss E. M. Dixon, Messrs. Sharpe, Humphries, and Moffitt, the accompanists being Mrs. Fitchett, Miss Anderson, Miss Raw, and Mi’- Bond. Miss A. Clark's orchestra provided the music for the dancing. Among those present were: Mrs. R. S. Thorburn, black georgette and silk lace. Mrs. C. Lees, delphinium blue crepe cle chine, and silver lace. Mrs. McLeod, rose embossed georgette. Mrs. J. Hollows, ivory georgette and lace. Mrs. Moffitt, royal blue crepe de chine. Mi's. Fitchett, dove grey and fuchsia crepe de chine. Mrs. V. Darley, silk lace over salmon pink georgette. Miss M. Grieve, Venetian blue velvet. Miss M. Stokes, rose taffeta and silver lace. Miss Cambridge, rose velvet. Miss M. lies, gold lace over green crepe de chine. Miss V. Hollis, frock of lemon taffeta. Miss Bailey, apricot taffeta frock. Miss Donaldson, frock of' blue velvet. Miss M.
