PLUNKET SOCIETY

' MONTHLY MEETING AT RAETIHI The monthly meeting of the local branch of the Plunltet Society was held yesterday afternon in the society’s rooms, Mrs. Sigley presiding. There were present: Mesdames Anderson, Moorman, Sandford, Gundy, Paulyer, and Miss Harvis. Apologies for absence were received from Mesdames McDowell, Lynch, McDonald, and Fletcher. A letter was received from Mrs. Fletcher stating- that she was willing to accept office on the committee. It was resolved to write to headquarters in connection with the karitane products, pointing out that the branch is losing on the sale o£ the commodities, and to ask whether a small additional charge can be made. The meeitng instructed the secretary to write to the nurse expressing sympathy with her in her recent illness. A most enjoyable afternoon tea was provided by Mesdames Sigley and Anderson.
