SURPRISE PARTY

A surprise party of about 40 people visited Mrs. A. E. Taylor, of Vincent Road, Mount Albert, on Saturday, on the occasion of her birthday. The evening was spent in games, singing, and dancing, and excellent music was supplied by Miss A. Chamberlain. Mr. Chadderton received many encores for his humorous items. Curran, pink taffeta, with mauve relief. Miss V. Shanks, sky-blue georgette, with silver lace. Miss C. Jansen, black pailette silk, with red rose. Miss N. Keen, red velvet and posy. Miss P. Witheridge, mauve georgette, with gold lace. Miss A. Shanks, coral pink georgette, with gold touches. Miss G. Curran, lace dress, with silver slip. Miss L.
