“OLD BLUES” MEET

CHRIST’S HOSPITAL SCHOOL Twenty old boys of Christ’s Hospital School held a reunion dinner at Hotel Auckland last evening. Two toasts were called and honoured, “The School,” and “The Club.” For the first, which was proposed by the president of the club, Mr. W. Fincher, members all stood with the right hand erected while the customary formula was repeated, “The Religious, Royal and Ancient Foundation of Christ’s Hospital, may those prosper who love it and may God increase their number.” Mr. Hawson proposed the toast of the club.
