BIG MOVE IN ENGLAND British Wireless —Press Assn.—Copyright Reed. Noon. RUGBY, Friday. A movement started by the National Playing-fields Association, for providing outdoor recreation facilities in thickly-populated areas, has resulted in voluntary gifts of £330,000 and 400 acres of land, while the Ministry of Health has sanctioned loans by local authorities amounting to £ 300,000 lor the acquisition of a further 1,300 acres, to be used as playing fields.
